I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Fat noodles at stat restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Their noodles and fish dish left me completely satisfied and craving for more!
From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was enchanted by its charming ambiance. The warm and cozy decor, combined with soothing traditional music, created the perfect setting for a delightful dining experience.
Now, let's dive into the star of the show: the noodles and fish. The dish was an absolute treat for the senses. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of firmness. Every bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, thanks to the well-balanced combination of aromatic herbs and spices.
The fish, oh the fish! It was incredibly fresh and expertly cooked effortlessly melted in my mouth, leaving behind a delicate, savory taste that lingered long after each bite. The chef truly showcased their skill in preparing this dish, paying attention to every detail and ensuring that flavors were perfectly harmonized.
A highlight worth mentioning was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable dining experience. Their knowledge of cuisine was impressive, and they were more than happy to answer our questions and offer recommendations.
In addition to the noodles and fish, the menu offered an extensive selection of other Vietnamese delicacies. From flavorful spring rolls to congee there was something to satisfy every palate.
To accompany our meal, we chose a refreshing Coconut Lychee drink which further enhanced our dining experience. The silky smooth texture and amazing flavor was a delightful contrast to the richness of the noodles and fish.
Overall, my experience at this restaurant was exceptional. The tantalizing flavors, attentive service, and inviting ambiance truly made it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend visiting this establishment for a especially their delightful noodles and fish dish. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Ate here the other day and found the food to be decent but price wise things were expensive. Restaurant is located inside the actual casino and gives you a nice break from gambling with Asian inspired dishes.
Wagyu beef was a little chewy but overall an “ok” dish to get. However, found the squid + sashimi to be super tasty and would recommend getting!
Overall 8/10 and will likely be back in the future.
Wasn't expecting much of this restaurant but was pleasantly surprised with the king prawn pad thai I ordered. Our group of 8 ordered various dishes and all were quite good. King prawns were huge and the dish was delicious. The service was pretty bad but they looked to be short staffed. Food arrived pretty quickly.
This is another one of my Favs, when at the Star Sydney, the food is great, fast and taste just wonderful. You can see the Chef's busy cooking your delights, service is always great too, its eat and go back to the Gaming Floor, nice and handy when you feel like a quick bite its just there, you can just about smell the flavours....
This has got to be some kind of joke, that the fat pho at fat noodle is probably the most meagre portion out of any pho you get in Sydney for one of the higher price points. Sure, there is Sliced wagyu but it's barely a slice over thin Angus brisket, and not particularly worthy of any description remotely related to fat. There's no additional extras like you might expect, no choice of meatball, tripe, or tendon, fat is not a pho dac biet. There's mostly noodle but it's not the biggest bowl either so it doesn't have that going for it. And the accompanying herbs are standard bean sprouts and a sprig of Thai basil, chilli cut too early and drying out. The broth itself? Fine but on the subtle side. Service? Well we're not in a Vietnamese restaurant but somehow it's the worse part of casino atmosphere, being literally in the middle of a casino with the loud over stimulated environment and people are queuing to get in and pay in stupid ways that involve their membership and holding up the queue where you could simply order and pay online with qr code so it takes ridiculously long to get seated when there are available tables. And overpriced beer, crazy considering many times the casino strategy is to get you in so that you might be tempted to have a gamble. It's not that kind of place - strong promises from dish names on the page, high prices, lacklustre servings, the worst of the casino atmospheres. Don't do it. Walk just outside and mashi no mashi will feed you like a king, it'll cost a little bit more but it's been 5 years since fat noodle visits and this one was for sure my last.
Had a late dinner here last night. Haven't been back in about a year.
Being a Saturday, the queue was very long. Luckily, we get to use the priority line, which only had one person in front, so we got seated very quickly.
Each table now has a QR code which allows you to view the menu and order from your phone. Convenient because you don't need to get a staff member to take your order. Didn't try it though, so don't know if it works well or not.
The menu has stayed relatively similar, so no surprises. The serving sizes have changed though. They're probably around 15%-20% smaller than they used to be, whilst prices have remained the same or even raised. Like, a Milk Tea is now $9!
On a positive note, the food still tastes pretty good. Not amazing (especially considering the price) but with discounts, it's good enough.
It's also still incredibly noisy, and cleanliness can be improved. My chair had food scraps from the table wipe (a simple dry wipe with no sanitising), and the table was slightly sticky.
Another thing I didn't like, which Fat Noodle has little control over, is the behaviour of some of their customers. Based on multiple experiences, they often get customers who are seemingly drunk and overly rowdy like they're eating in a pub; shouting, yelling, randomly cheering for no apparent reason. Can't eat in peace.
You can never go wrong here when it comes to being satisfied with your hunger after some fun , it’s always busy and worthy of having a waiting line
Been here many many times. Never disappointed. Especially their salt and pepper squid, one of the best. My only concern is the price has gone up and quantity hasn’t, which is pretty much the same everywhere else. But otherwise food is always fresh and tastes good.
